How much will postage be for my item?
Postage quotes are generated automatically from the Autralia Post website (www.australiapost.com.au) based on what you have in your shopping cart. To generate a quote, add your item or items to the shopping cart and then click the "estimate shipping" button at the bottom of the shopping cart page. You can generate this quote without creating an account with Hobby Link.
Do you post items internationally?
We can post to any destination that Australia Post services. To check what options are available for your destination, add your item or items to the
shopping cart and then click the "estimate shipping" button at the
bottom of the shopping cart page. Shipping methods vary by country (sea, air, registered air and so forth).
How long does it take for my purchase to arrive?
All postage quotes will give an indication of time frame for delivery based on Australia Post's network. As a general rule of thumb, registered parcel post takes about 10 business days to be delivered to any Australian destination.
When I put in my tracking number Australia Post says "No Events Found". Why?
Australia Post only start to track items from the time it arrives in your local delivery centre – not from the time we lodge it at our local postoffice – so it may take some time before you see anything on the tracking site.How is my payment handled online?When
completing the shopping cart and 'checking out', your Visa, Mastercard
or Direct Deposit payment will be redirected to PayPal. Paypal is a
trusted and secure third party ecommerce supplier and is quite popular
on eBay. At no stage does Hobby Link see or store your bank details.
I don't have Paypal. How do I pay by credit card or direct deposit?
Select Paypal as your payment option. Confirm the order. When the Paypal log in page loads, the left column will have an option to pay by Visa, Mastercard or Direct Deposit without creating a Paypal account. Use this option to complete your purchase.
What is your 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantee?
We
want HAPPY REGULAR CUSTOMERS!!! Our guarantee gives you peace of mind that if your not happy with your purchase for any reason, we'll give you your money back within 30 days. This includes damages, change of mind or accidently ordered the wrong size. So don't worry, contact us straight away
and we'll arrange a prompt replacement or refund of your purchase.
Please note that postage costs are excluded from the guarantee as this is a cost we cannot control. The exception being if the item is damaged on arrival, we will seek to recover the cost from Australia Post on your behalf.

Where is Hobby Link located? Do you have a store front?
Hobby Link works as a cooperative with the hobby shops Checkered Flag Model Shop (Hobart), Derwent Valley Model Trains (Hobart) and Mersey Models (Devonport, Tas). You are more than welcome to visit any of these retailers to see products in store and have a chat with the proprietors.
